So do Spain this year, come back to UK, buy another bike and continue as planned.
The trouble with the internet is that there’s too much information and people feel they need to research and get things right - no perfect
My advice is just go on a trip anywhere on anything it’s the unknown that makes it exciting and the f***ups that make it funny.

Well I certainly agree - the best trip I ever made was an impromptu trip to Rome. Booked the flights a day before I went, found accomodation there. Didn't take any guide books. I have to say, walking around a corner and seeing the F*****g colloseum is a LOT more impressive than following a guide book there!
So I like the philosophy. But I also don't want to have a catestrophic breakdown in the middle of the Steppe if I can avoid it But, yes. Heck it. I seriously might buy a bike here and sell it again later. Part of me really likes the idea of having one bike that I do all this crazy stuff on. Me and my trusty steed... but in reality, that's probably the least important thing. You do get attached to these little guys though. I kept my last car for 5 years and bought it twice!
