Hi, We are Judy and Mike
Mike and I have been married for over 28 years our children are grown and are living on their own (Which is wonderful) shhhh!! We travel all over on our 2001 Honda 1800 Gold Wing, which almost has 80,000 miles on it. We love hearing and reading about everyone's travels. We are The Chapter Directors of GWRRA Delaware A. We are a very fun bunch of folks.
You know we all come from different walks of life and interests, but what makes it all special is that we all have a common interest, Motorcycling, motorcycles! What a way for everyone to get to know each other.

Welcome from Japan
Hi there the 2 of you and welcome to HU! I am sure you will find many friends here, people not only interested in motorcycle touring but also rwady to provide information and help. And if you should ever have the desire to visit the "land-of-the-not-always-rising-sun", get with me! There will always be a place to stretch out your legs, get a shower and something to eat/drink for fellow bikers!!
Take care and safe riding,
Klaus

...and Welcome from Germany
I echo what Klaus has said above. One of the main attractions of this site for me is the real worldwide usage, so there is always someone "local" to help with information that you wouldn't find anywhere else.
So, a big welcome and if you need any information on Germany's Black Forest region, please let me know.

Thanks for the welcome
Mike and I would like to thank everyone who said hello. I would like to travel overseas.. but Mike doesn't like to fly.. Boohoo, and I talked to him about a ship..another nope. Oh well, one day maybe.
Isn't it nice that we can get with others and ask for information and they glady help. If we have question or concerns we will ask.
So how do you like all this hot weather we have been having? Just remember to drink, and cover up. That is what we do.

Geez Judy:
I'd trade that Mike in for a new model, something foreign!
Or, I'm in Cape Town heading north - you can ride with me, but its a BMW and may take some getting used to after riding that wing.

Hi guys welcome to the Hubb. You don't need to fly or take a boat to go abroad. Just head South until you hit Mexico. You can go all the way to Panama without having to do any flying or sailing.
Mexico is a really great place to visit. You can do it on a Goldwing without any problems. If you do decide to do it we love to get visitors in Mex City so you are more than welcome.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
