hello
bangkok riders club are very helpfull and nice

thanx daniel and shinji
BMW GARAGES
unfortunately, before meeting them, i gave my r100gs for repair at an official bmw dealer (barcelona motor).
but in a month time, they did not do anything on the bike, fear of ??? ... maybe lack of experience and expertise, no spare parts at all (have to be ordered)
bkk riders club really recommended me to go to dynamic motors (manager : yut) who has a lot of experience with old bmw
maybe barcelona is better for more recent models (injection, r1100 and after models)
BIKE EQUIPEMENT SHOPS
i bought a few things at dirt shop, maybe one of the best shops in town for what we need / look for : nice people, quite a lot of choice and not too expensive
adress : sukhumvit rd, 77
tel : 02 322 14 41 , 02 322 14 46

i m sure there s a link and many more on the excellent bangkok riders clubwebsite
and i m sure the members of this club will help you for anything
GUESTHOUSE
unfortunately, fewer and fewer cheap gh offer parking for the bikes, around khao san rd.
even the one i used to stay at, now, they refuse bikes, well it was a 80-100 bahts a night guesthouse
but for more, let s say, 300 bahts, there are some gh with parking inside
TYRES
i left in thai green gh (near apple gh) 2 vee rubber offroad tyres, quite new
90/90-21
140/80-17
nb : thai green is very nice, no parking though but maybe you can manage with the neighbours around, what i did for 1-2 nights, maybe for a bit of money.
happy trails
