Bike gear in Turkey?

merhaba,

I'll be in Istanbul for a couple of days end of April. I wanna get some bike gear, can you recommend a few good shops to check out? Where's the bike market ? A google maps link would be awesome. How about prices? Are the items price tagged or does the price depend on the customer like in China?

Recommend you to check Hein-Gericke in Istanbul.
Check for the shops from their website or make a search.

hi again,

there are more than one shop, so just tell the taxi driver that you want to go to fenerbahce stadium (namely, sukru saracoglu stadium) main entrance. the bike shops are just next to the stadium. easy to find. this neighborhood called "kiziltoprak". but, the name of the stadium would be more than enough for the driver.

although i am not a fan of fenerbahce. they are the second biggest football club in Turkiye after Galatasaray. So, everyone knows where their home stadium is.

hope this helps.

Hi Ozhan, how are you after so long time?

I am not fan of any club.

It is very interesting you call FB, second biggest club in TR !
If you write this to a forum in TR you know what will happen!

Better to write : "one of the biggest" IMHO.

Stay well
