Pakistan Visa has to be done at home, and Iranian Visa is probably better to at home to.
What is your nationality and in which country do you live?
Maybe you can get the visas long enough to arrange them before you leave. That is the best option.

Normally the Pakistan visa is applied from your home country. For us it was Australia and the embassy staff were very good. They gave us 12 month validity and 45 days. Normally it is 6 months and 30 days. If you need more than 6 months, it maybe worth asking.
We got our Iranian visas in Pakistan. DO NOT use a letter of invitation for Iran, they frown upon this practice.
Not much info I know, but maybe it can help you.
Cheers
Graeme.

Pakistan - Visa (Airlines Tickets / Hôtel Reservations)
Hi guys,
I plan to travel from France to India. I'm in the middle of the process of getting all my visas.
I am a little worried about the Pakistani visa. I've a few question for the people who already get it :
1 - How did you manage the airlines tickets requirements?
2 - I've found a tour operator to get the LOI, do I also need to provide hotel reservations & detailed intinerary ?
3 - How long does it take to have your visa?
It would be really great to have your inputs and advices on the subject! Any tips is more than welcome!
Thanks guys!

Pakistan Visa
Its best to apply for a Pakistani visa from your home country, if you mention your travel plans you do not need air tickets/hotel bookings etc. If you are on tourist visa you don't need an NOC for North of Pakistan, and since most riders either enter or exit through Khunjrab, please make sure you have tourist visa. We recently had someone who was traveling on a work visa and ran into delays because of the NOC requirements.

I'm French also and actually in Iran.
I have done my visa in Paris before leaving (Iran, Pakistan,India, nepal)
For the Pakistan one, I get an invitation letter and than I wrote a letter explaining my trip and gave them the bike document and my international driving licence... so no plane ticket, no hotel booking, and I get it!
If you have any question, feel free to ask.
Rgds
