Georgia - Fuel Warning
Just to say that under Georgian Law it is ILLEGAL to import fuel in tanks other than the vehicle's original fuel tank. I almost lost 220L of Iranian diesel, though they let me off as a kindness (or because they didn't fancy siphoning it all out).
So be warned!
Fuel prices here are more than in neighbouring states (except Turkey), about $1 per litre for diesel, around a dollar for petrol, depending on the grade.
Otherwise, very straightforward to enter Georgia with the car. No tax / insurance required, no papers / time limit, just a tiny pink sticker with the registration number stuck in your passport.
Lovely country.
