Your comment brings back a lot of memories.We have been in the same situation many,many years ago.There was no camping ground in Johur Bahru.So we ended up asking the pastor of the anglican church,if we can leave our van there.Could even use the shower and toilet of the kindergarten.But he asked,if we were christians. Donated some money and attended the open air church service on sundays,and became an attraction among all the locals.There was an express bus directly going into Singapore,all along bukit tima road. It took quite some time and effort to get the paperwork done and the car on a ship to Oz.
