Westbound problem towards Iran from Quetta

Hello

I,m currently ( Tursday 11th April 2013 ) in Quetta and are supposed to be heading for Iran.

Having this problem where they are no longer issuing a NOC for a single travellers heading to Iran overland.

Don,t know if someone else or a group are right behind me , guessing not , so are in the process of buying a airticket from Quetta to the Iranian border city of Zangaen. (spelt wrong.)
That was the only option been presented to my the top guy who signs for NOC,s here currently.

A French group with a baby that I briefly met just crossed from Iran to Quetta were in the process of getting their next NOC in Quetta to continuie to India.
Think their biggest problem was having enough food etc as police escorts didn,t want to stop too allow them to buy ,so perhaps stock up.

Will up date how things go but if there is a group right behind me they might want too e-mail quickly. mmmm I use local internet cafes when theres power and a server working.

Back again

Seems a organized group of ten bikes and a bus returning to Europe just left some days before I arrived.
So I,m going too hang around awhile here hoping others are heading my direction.

If anyone heading my way can they let me know.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
