Deauvilles are great bikes for racking up the miles on the road, and I'm surprised they're hardly ever mentioned on here. Most people seem to be after a bike for use only on tarmac or gravel at worse, and I can't think of a better bike of that kind of size. The engines on them comfortably pass 100,000 miles without problems and they can be had quite cheaply, particularly higher mileage ones which have been used for motorway commuting. 30k miles is nothing for those bikes.
Then again they are the archetypical 'Grandad bike'.
