Diesel Bike military only for now tho
not quire on sale yet but coming soon
HDT - Hayes Diversified Technologies - Motorcycle models
Not my cuppa tea but if diesel/mixed fuel is what appeals to you then this looks like the best available. Also has a 400 mile standard range = ~100mpg which can't be bad.

It is my opinion these things are 'vapour ware' and will be readilly available just after 'Windows 2027' is released bug free.
For something more tangible try here
DieselBike.net - Diesel Motorcycles
You will need to scroll down to the Trak bike
I am off to the diesel bike rally tomorrow morning in Hamm Germany via Ypres and Passendale.

Don't hold your breath lads, this thing has been "coming soon" for years, which is annoying as I want one. At this rate I'll have to join the army.
Ludicrous off road range anyone? Yes please!
Oh and plastic fuel tank so that you can see how much you have left, how cool is that?

This bike has been out for quite a while, however the US marine Expeditionary Force keeps buying them up and none are making it to civilian hands, that I know of. I was told be a friend in the marines that they can run on multi fuels, Kerosene, gasoline, Diesel, Camping fuel etc including biodiesel.
I cant verify this other then this is what I was told, and I did read on a webpage it was a multi fuel bike and this listed gas, diesel and kerosene as "some" of the fuel options. It would also be my guess that your fuel range would reflect your choice of fuel. I would also question Fuel Filters and Fuel Pumps such as sulphur free diesel etc. My other concern would be can fuel be mixed int he tank, or would one need to empty the tank before changing the fuel, so the timing was able to adjust to the fuel.
I did read on diesel it was making something like 8OMPG or something and was said about increased mileage in the future developments.
Hope this helps, When I get home i can look into the links and see if any are still active, as I got them liker a year ago or so.
be safe!
Fenian!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
