Hi Niceguyeddie,
I've never heard of the Falcon so can't comment, but I bought a Transalp in 2009. Since then I've done 22000 miles(about 30000kms.) on it, mostly touring with wife and full load in Honda top box, panniers(soft), and tank bag. We took it to Turkey the first year and did 6000miles and 16 countries. After servicing it in Turkey they did not put oil filter back properly(Honda agent) and it leaked oil til we got to Bucharest where they rectified it. Next year we went to Morocco and toured around the country(2000miles) with some off road as they were building a new highway along the Mediterranean coast.(It was a building site for 80miles.) On the way back through Spain we had problem with fuel injection. Honda in Salamanca could not find fault. The dealer where I bought it put a new EFI unit in(£1100-under warranty!)Next year we went to the Pyrenees-same problem-Honda at La Rochelle found a faulty lead! Cured! All the way from West to East of Pyrenees and this year to Med. via Alps. No problem. Cruises motorways 80+mph.. Mountain passes no problem. Averages 12-13mpl(20kms/litre). Holds 17.5 litres. It is top heavy and heavy to pick up. Helps to have another person to pick it up. Not most comfortable but have done 400 miles in a day. It's a bit tall for me(28ins-71cms leg) so just get toes down. With full load much better. I have a taller screen, heated hand grips and lower seat. A 4 year old one like mine should be around £3500-£4000.
