Is there Anyone,Big scooter RTW ???

Please, let me know the webpage of
who round the world on
over 400cc Big scooter..

I need this info for crossing
from Russia-Mongolia-Stans-Middle East-Morocco..over 40,000Km

I have to be in Russia in June, and
I don't buy the bike yet.
If this is possible,I really like to try Big scooter
as it will make the journey more fun and also make the local people smile..!!

Or if this idea is too stupid,
I will buy the normal 650 Enduro bike.
I know it will be much more easy to travel on this bike,
as I had already finished whole America 85,000Km,
for 1 year and 7 months on F650GS.
I mean,I know what's it like to ride motorcyle for long mileage,
the mechanic troubles..parts..accident..etc..
But I learned anybike is possible when I travel.
and I think that it will be more great if I ride exotice bike
such as Goldwing or R1.

but
I'm still not sure about this plan as I don't know who
round the world on Big Scooter..

I have to decide very quickly.
I have to buy 2 motorcycles until next week for preparation.
Yes,I will ride with another guy who have never ride before..
So I will help this guy's dream come true..and also
I'd like to make his dream more special..

Please,let me know your opinion..

Hello Se Wan

Hello from Helena Montana. I still regret I didn't get to meet you last summer but I still have the tiny drum you left. I have had experience with honda scooters since 1984 and they are amazingly tough. Here in montana the main problem we see is lots of dirt in the air filter when they are used off road. People use scooters to check their horses and to get around the ranch. The only other thing would be water crossings if you got water on the drive belt. But you could rerout the ventilation for the belt cover higher up. They couldn't be any worse than your back shock problems!

Talking Hm..what's the solution?

Dear Bill.
Thanks for remembering..^^

I'd like to try Honda silverwing 600cc.
How can I solve this problem?
Is it OK if I clean the air filter with air-pressure machine
every 1 week or 2 days after dirt riding.?
I think that I can do this in car shop.
How long the bike is OK with dirt in the air filter?

Also,I worry about the pipes under the bottom
if I ride through off road.
It looks very low and touch the ground, then BOOM..!!

But I really like to try the scooter.
Please,help..^^

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
