Women ADV riders article
Hello ladies,
my name's El, and I'm a freelance journalist currently on a very slow moto RTW myself. I'm working on an article about how women ADV riders are perceived today, and should (could?) this perception change: while Elspeth Beard was definitely a rockstar motorcycling around the world in the 80's, are we still heroines just because we ride? Or can we now skip 'the female factor' and just concentrate on the riding and the exploring? Are women riders better at observing and giving back? Is the world more dangerous for us?
These and other questions will be included in the article; I'm going to write the whole thing up as a free-flowing discussion rather than a standard magazine feature, but it is meant for publication.
If you would like to be part of the conversation, please drop me a line here or at wildridertw@gmail.com, and I'll forward you the interview questions. I will post the full - length article on my website Wildridertw/Adventure motorcycle riding, whereas a different, shorter version will go to one of the ADV mags.
Thanks in advance, and stay awesome!
Hugs, El

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
