1986 Yamaha XT600 for sale
I am going to have to reduce my collection. I selling my near mint 1986 XT600. It only has about 800 miles on it. The reason it has so few miles is that it had a transmission issue (second gear on the shift cam would not hold) which has been repaired. It was repaired with a new shift cam. Works great now. It's in almost perfect condition. Before posting it on eBay I thought I would give the true believers a chance at it. I am taking offers. I am located in Atlanta, GA. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.

Asrocytoma, I have sent the following pm to Troy on your behalf, but I would guess that if if he has not seen your earlier posts, then he has not been on the forum

Minty XT600
Sorry to report that since I've become the North American distributor for Kedo Performance Parts I have decided to keep her. She makes a great show bike. I just had to build a bigger garage for her.

She sounds absolutely lovely!
I'm sure you have made a good decision to keep her. Can't be too many left in that condition. I can't speak for the USA but in the UK they are now becoming pretty rare things. Plenty of XT6 E's still out here but hardly any early 1990's "minters". The bike was so damn useful for RTW trips in the 1990's, that most were literally ridden into the ground. Most that still survive are looking their age now...
What about a pic?

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
