I have no idea... that's why I'm inquiring myself, I suspect I'll end up buying one and seeing if there is any way to make it fit, I have a long cold winter ahead of me to try to retrofit it, and then I'll share the results, unless I find out sooner from someones personal experience

I have not found anyone who actually has one to sell. Acerbus only has the 23 ltr tank for the 95 and up. THUMPTHUMP

Thanks for the post but my computer choked on trying to translate that. I am in the US and after you convert to dollars and ad shipping it would probably cost more than the bike did. I need a US distributer to make it a realistic possibility for me. THUMPTHUMP

Wow, You guys are tough. The tank is about $302.00 in US dollars. I sent a email [thanks xtrock] and asked about shipping cost. We'll see if they respond. But, based on the rates I see on Ebay from Europe it is almost the price of the product. Until then I will stop every 100 miles or so and fill up with $3.09 a gallon gas. How much you guys pay a gallon ? THUMPTHUMP

Well, the email address failed to go through. Any suggestions? Do I need to add something to get it to Europe from here? THUMPTHUMP

I've spent weeks trying to find a larger tank for a 1991 XT 600 with no luck. I've scoured message boards, contacted Acerbis, Clarke Manufacturing and Just Gas Tanks.com directly. All lead me to the same dead end: There's no tank for the XT 600 in the 90-94 range. I'm with you - hoping someone has retro-fitted a larger aftermarket tank and is willing to share how-to details. I'll keep searching.

I've fitted this tank to my 1993 XT 600.
It had original Acerbis front mounting hardware, fits no problem.

Again, European model , not US so that doesn't mean they'll fit , however there are some good pics of the frame in that thread so someone with the US model should study the 2 and see if much is different, could very well be the same.

Yes this tank is made for 90-95, but what they are asking is if the 95-00 tank wil fit with modification. Because the old tank is hard to find.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't everything fit from the newer model to an older? (from 4PT to 3TB)
As far as I've read you can use 4PT fairings/tank/seat on a 3TB, but you need the whole set: gas tank, seat, side fairings, tail piece...
