1vj source coil values

Hello. Im having my 1986 1vj tenere alternator stator re-wound and the chap wants to know what the cdi source coil values are. Hes found some info that says 142 ohms but my reading is 132 ohms (if ive remembered that right.) does anyone have anymore info to confirm either value? Im away from home so cant look it up in the manual. Cheers. Karl.

The book says (3AJ) but same engine as 1VJ (electric start) should be between 112 -132Ω the older Tenere`s (kick start) was 200Ω.

Why are you getting it re-wound if its within spec?

Mezo.

Great, thanks for that. Its the other bit of the stator (charging circuit) that's pooped. He was just checking the CDi bit to check it was ok. Seems it is. Thanks again.

Similar issue here

Hi guys I'm quite new but bear with me I have an interesting one here, my bike left me hanging on the way home it's a 1vj and just died at the lights, battery was weak for the starter and was too tired to kick start so I pushed it home (how nice ) so got home left it for 20min and two s later I kick started and it fired up, now here is where all goes to *hit
Had already installed regulator & rectifier, and bought a stator from Germany (without trigger coils) because I manually rewired my old one (desperate measures )
Now she doesn't start with the starter but only by kicking and don't understand why
Charging coil values 147.7 ohms
Trigger coils black and yellow wire to green and white 134.4 ohms
Black and yellow to blue and yellow 115.7 ohms
Spark coil orange to black 1.0 ohms
Please can someone help me sort my bike out
Thanks guys
