3AJ Crash Bars
I am going to fabricate my own crash bars for my 1989 Tenere. Does anyone have any info on the best design and attachment points for this. Perhaps if someone has bought some from overland solutions or five stars I could ask you a few questions.
Cheers

This is my first message on the board!
I own a 1990 Tenere, and I am very interested in doing just the same. I designed a few protectors for a 4x4, so I thought this would be simple, but I'm not sure how to anchor to the frame. The exhaust seems to be in the way where I wanted to attach, any ideas?

I've been wondering, would an XT 600 engine guard fit on? Like the one in the pic? If it does, it may be easy to weld on some more tubing to cover the tank.

Hi,
I have a set of Riky Cross tank protector bars for my 3AJ.
You can see a couple of pictures of the instructions and fitting kit on these links.

I have the bars off the bike at the moment, but my camera has packed up. I think Riky Cross's site has pictures of the bars though.
Ciao,
Geoff
