Airholes in front mudguard, necessary or not?
Hi!
I´ve seen a lot of 1VJ´s with holes or ventilation gaps in the rear lower portion of the front mudguard.
I suppose these are for improving airflow to the cylinderhead for cooling.
Are they necessary?
Mine has no vent gaps, and it also has a mudguard extension wich makes it even longer.
Should I take the extension off and cut vent gaps in the mudguard?
(I´m going to western africa in a year or so, and from what I´ve heard I can use all the cooling I can get there.)
Thanx...
