Bike fell over
I was changing the front sprocket and fitting a silencer and had the bike on a bike stand and it fell over, scraping the mirrors and handguards, chipped a few layers of paint off my tank (not back to bare metal thankfully) but worst of all when I went out to the garage later I saw I had an oil leak on the left side of the engine.
It seems to be coming from the big screw or plug as they call it in the workshop manual. I think it is used for adjusting the valve clearances.
I just looked on cmsnl and the screw is £7 and the oring is £7.50, the parts are usually a bit cheaper from a place near me. I never used cms but it's a good place to get an idea of price.
So hopefully if I replace the screw and oring I will stop the leak.
What is the best thing to do on the chipped petrol tank?
