Grease nipple
On the 3TB there is grease nipple at the rear arm, the nipples are smaller than standard for the tool applying the grease. What do you use for filling these?

If you fit the needle type nozzle to your grease gun you can then use it on any sized grease nipple.

They are smaller than the older XT's? can you just take some off an old swinger and install in the 3TB ones?

I've used the same end as all my other nipples. The metrics can be a little more pain but I always just make sure it snaps on and hold the hose end square with the nipple.

It's not so easy when your hose is very flexible.
And getting at those grease nipples has proved to be the same on my XT225 as the OP: I got around that by having the swinging arm nipples greased along with my annual UK MOT test procedure; with a bit of chatting with the test station owner/operator he did it at no cost - all part of the service if you can build up a relationship with a smallish trader rather than going for a large, modern workshop full of 9-5 employees.

Here is a pic
GREASE GUN NEEDLE TIP | NEEDLE NOZZLE GREASE GUN TIP
they usually come with a steel screw-on shroud for protection.
If not using the shroud, be careful not to prikk your finger with the nozzle as grease in your blood stream is not good for you !!
And only attempt to press on one nipple at a time, you will get better lubrication
