Advice on crankshaft bearing
During dismantling of my 2KF motor I found out that the left crankshaft roller bearing (alternator side) could be very easily moved on the axis. After removing the bearing the axis clearly showed a very shiny surface. The diameter of the axis is about 1-2/100 mm smaller than the nominal inner diameter of the bearing.
Is it possible to repair this by mounting a new bearing with locktight or should I take more drastic measures and what are the possibilities?
The motor clearly had a knock and more than normal vibrations before dismantling.
Any advice is welcome
