Snorkel, L-shaped pipe, cleaner case cap, duct...
That area under the seat gathers a lot of dirt when driving off-asphalt-road. I just tested it by taking the L-shaped (pointing to the right) plastic pipe off under the seat and took it for a ride. There's still the paper air cleaner there ofc. When I started to accelerate with the cold engine, it did a few coughs but then sounded good. The sound had a 'hollow' tone added to it. I was really surprised by how much more power the bike suddenly had! It generally accelerated a lot faster, like if I had a very strong back wind... And it seemed to run more ... easily.
I dont like to drive exactly 80km/h, because the rpm sounds too fast to me at 4th gear, and much too slow at 5th gear. I think 5th gear is too big for 80km/h..?
Have you dear readers got any experince or advice with this L-shaped pipe? Does having it off cause problems with the engine or something?
I dont dare to go to sand places without it, but I would definately have it off if driving on asphalt roads only.
