stainless downpipes
hi still looking for stainless downpipes for my xt60043f 1985 .do,s anybody know if tt600re 2004 pipes fit my xt and will line up with a standard rear yamaha silencer . ive been told some tt600,s fit if cut down . has anybody fitted tt600re pipes to a standard 43f . many thanks for reading this and any replies ,this is a great site with lots of useful info. take care zigzag

Hi,
I fitted the Motad offering to my '88 Tenere, and their site shows them still available:
Motad
They are silver, rather than my original's black coating.
I ordered them from a small local motorcycle shop (MoT/Servicing/Secondhand bike sales), so guess you can order them locally also (and save P&P)....

Hej,
you can use the downpipe of the TT600S (Belgarda) models, but you will have to cut it.
I use this pipe on my XT600Z 3AJ. The diameter will fit to the original exhaust.
I can´t give any advise regarding the TT600R downpipes.
Keep the XT alive!

hi thanks for the repleys ,i was looking at some 2004 tt600re downpipes on e,bay but thay sold for a little more than i hoped ,with out been sure thay would line up with my silenser i did not wont to risk it . somebody seid tt -ttr pipes fit if shortened 5-6 cm ,but on the e,bay photo this looked close to the bend .all the manifold ends seem the same , just the conection to the silenser, ie lining up sq on . i,ll check out the belgardo pipe if i can thanks again. zig zag

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
