Tenere Parts UK
Hi Friends
I have just became the proud owner of a Mid to late 80's Italian import Tenere XT 600, It is in excellent condition, however there are a few parts I will be needing to locate, to bring it up to spec, and I'm just asking if anybody can suggest a good source for parts for these bikes, without having to wait for specific items on places like ebay,
All the best

Fowlers in Bristol
If I'm buying new parts I go to Fowlers in Bristol, they know what they're doing, they're helpful and have a surprising amount in stock. Much better than any of the local dealers I've found and even the independant garages around here use them. Have your chassis no. to hand when you phone them though, the whole number not just the 3 digit pre-fix.
http://www.fowlers.co.uk/
I'm not affiliated with them in any way, I just tried a lot of rubbish places first.

got an italian import from a bloke in rugby (off ebay) he imports them & breaks them, so if you want used parts his name on ebay is twincamturbo. just send him a message on contact seller & see what he has got. hope this helps.

Tenere bits and bobs
Edgebarber,
Get hold of Dave Lambeth ( www.davidlambeth.co.uk), I know he had a few Tenere bits and bobs in his workshop at the end of last year, and since he is moving at the moment, he mentioned being keen to get rid of a few things instead of having to haul them.
Worth a shot, perhaps.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
