Remember the REAL XT600 experts are here!
I am always very doubtful of workshop mechanics who describe themselves as being expert. Often this only equates to being expert at relieving their customers of their hard earned dosh!
The best mechanic I have ever come across is a minibus driver (Pete) who lives in Tenterden Kent. What he doesn't know about taking motorcycles apart isn't worth knowing... Seriously he's fantastically clever with motorcycles of all types. He's the ONLY person I trust with any of my bikes. He's my best'est and oldest mate to boot.
It makes me laugh when I read motorcycles being sold using the following term "partial service history" lol. Most of the home mechanics I know do a far better job than the so called professional experts...
Anyone buying a bike would be well advised to take more notice of the condition of the bike than any "DEALER" service history. If it looks mint then it's been taken care of. Simples...
Glad you sorted your problem out.
