Honestly, I think its a lot of effort better spent on an I4 motor. if you're doing a turbo, I4 is the best to do that on, not a single cylinder.
Knowing a few people with turbo bikes, this route is quite pricey, and for the cost, unless money is absolutely no object, you could easily go out and buy a used 09 R1 for what it would cost to turbocharge a motorcycle.
Really the big issue is that almost every turbo is too big, and honestly, having a custom made turbo, isnt at all cheap I dont think.
