I want to fit a kickstart to my 600E, I have a kick start shaft etc, off an srx600 . But no kick start leaver. apart from the obvious xt600 and srxs are there any other models in the yamaha range that i could use the kickstart from.?

The research has it looking easy, i have the parts and i will be doing it and do a report on the instal In words and pictures, it has probably been outlined on this or other forums but i could not find any info.
There must be other yamahas with similar splines and similar shaped kick start leavers that will work on the XT600s, but if others know what will also fit they are certainly being tight liped about it, asked on four relatively active forums and not one word of info. XT 600s are old news now few seem interested in them any more, ask a question like this 10 years ago you would have been in to 20 replies minimum. Mind you it is quiet around here these days nothing like it was when i was on here before.
