I recently ordered my starter clutch from here honda kawasaki suzuki yamaha motorcycle parts in Holland for an 89 tenere. You can just enter the part number on the website and see if they have it. From ordering to delivery here in south america was only 5 days which was pretty amazing seeing as they didnt have the part on the shelf but had to order it in from the main yamaha parts depot somewhere in Europe. Price was cheaper than England and Christine in CMS was really helpful.
Its a really easy job to replace, any puller that roughly matches the size of the rotor will get it off (borrowed mine from a car mechanic). Drain the oil from the bike and remove the starter motor cover and crankcase cover.
I would recommend removing the starter clutch before you order the new one. ... you might find you need to order some bearings for the starter wheel, better to see whats what in there before you order. Loose starter wheel bearings could be the cause of excessive wear on starter clutch. The bearings just slide over the crankshaft - no work (xt 600).
good luck!
