think that should be ok
Think that you wrote the 3TB unit number wrong, should be the same, 82305. From what I know all the XT600E starting from 1990 have same ignitor, see also here to learn some more things, but your bike is different.
FAQ XT600 XT550
From what u find here there is some difference with your bike advance value and xt600E. You could go with this data to a mechanic, and ask, with this advance difference, what could happen... or simply ask in a tecnical forum, (may be here too) with this data. Hope that it can help u..

suggestion
You should check if you can get a 4MY-82305-00, I guess it´s the replacement for your 3YF-82305-00.
God Luck!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
