Spent 1.5 years travelling in Greece, Turkey, Israel, East and south Africa; 6 months Cross North America down to Mexico; 9 months from Sturgis, down through Central America to Costa Rica.

Riding to the Moon is a long-distance adventure motorcycle ride from Los Angeles, California to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.... The ride was done by David Baumgarten, Alex Bisarello, Gary Kout, Jason Martin, and Jim Sowers in 1996-97. Jim Sowers then did a Cape Town to Cairo trip in 2000-2001 also documented on the site.

Polish Canadians. In 2005 Greg and Natasha on one bike and Jacek on another attempted RTW trip, through Canada, Alaska and Russia ending the trip in Europe.

Tom Smith, from Canada, rode a 1985 Honda Elite - that's a scooter! around the world, from 1986 to 1988. He has a great book of his adventures too.
