Comments:

I arrived unannounced at the Lyncargo office to just check it out but Veronica asked if I wanted to ship that day. Possibly a quiet period. Her English is excellent. I paid by credit card but this is done over the phone by another company and Veronica had to check about paying the airline after the weekend. No real issue and better for me than withdrawing and wandering around with that kind of cash.

The following morning at 8am I left the Lyncargo office following their airport man Libardo on his bike. First up was loading the bike into the Aircargo pack warehouse by custom made bike cradle and forklift. Then to the Policia. Passport required for entry but Libardo does everything.

Aduana at the opposite end of the terminal is next. (Keep the paper slip from the cargo terminal entrance guards for entry to the building and lifts).

Back to Aircargo pack for sniffer dog and police search. That's it. All done by about 12:00.

Fuel wise they looked in tank, saw petrol but were okay when i showed one bar on main tank.

Taxi back to Candelaria is about 14,000 pesos. Bike flies into Tocumen cargo terminal, opposite side of runways to the passenger terminal. (Note; low cost carrier Viva Colombia flies to a different airport, Panama Pacifico. They were reluctant to let me board in Colombia without proof of onward flights but eventually let me on after photographing my airways bill).

Air cargopack warehouse at Tocumen is hidden to the immediate left of the old terminal building. Go to the little windows at the left of the warehouse entrance first. They will look for $36 before sending you off to get three stamps. Get these by going back to the entrance to three container offices together.

Aduana asked for $10 as it was a Saturday. I asked for and got a double signed receipt and noticed others paying this. All three close at 12 on Saturday.

Once you have your bike make sure you stop at the second aduana office just past those three. There are overland stickers on the window. Closes at 13:00 on Saturday. Present the documents at the outermost checkpoint and you're done!
