Lorraine made her first solo trip age 18 on a Honda CB360. Chelsea Southard Unleash the Kraken - A woman's tale of art, adventure and her journey around America

At 24 years old, almost two year ago, I finished my Bachelors at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Before leaving I sold everything I had, went and got my motorcycle license, got involved in a Burning Man project and flew across country to build art and a new lifestyle for myself. After Burning Man I went to San Francisco, bought my first motorcycle which I named the Kraken, worked as a courier for two weeks and with just about 1000 miles under my belt embarked on an almost two month journey across America.

A year later I rode back across, going the northern route this time. Now I am in San Francisco preparing for the next chapter, RTW. I will present to you a collection of stories, some of laughter, some of fear, joy, sadness, courage and perseverance. But most of all love. The love of life, the love of adventure and the love of this beautiful world. I will also talk about the plans, route and vision that make up the next steps of this journey.

Chelsea Southard has traveled solo across America twice on her motorcycle. She is an artist, a maker, and dreamer who seeks to inspire others with hopes of instilling change and growth throughout the world. Chelsea and her partner Alex Goldman are currently in San Francisco preparing for next years departure of their four year RTW journey. Jeremy is a Mennonite with a motorcycle. When his seemingly unflinching faith in a Christian worldview begins to shift, Kroeker hops on his bike to seek answers from another perspective. After shipping his ride to Europe, Kroeker discovers that the machine wobbles back and forth worse than his own opinions about spirituality. Still, he caries on, oscillating through Europe—Germany, Austria, Croatia, Albania—and into the Middle East - Turkey, Syria, Lebanon and, ultimately, Iran.

It is there, in the theocratic nation of Iran, that Kroeker finds himself on a forbidden visit to a holy Muslim Shrine. Once inside, invisible hands reach into his chest and rip from his heart a sincere prayer, his first in many years. And God hears that prayer. For before Kroeker can escape Iran, God steals into his hotel room one night to threaten him with death. At least, that's one way to look at it...

Jeremy Kroeker is a freelance writer, a speaker, and the award-winning author of two books, 'Motorcycle Therapy: A Canadian Adventure in Central America' and 'Through Dust and Darkness: A Motorcycle Journey of Fear and Faith in the Middle East.' With his motorcycle, he has traveled to 30 countries while managing to do at least one outrageously stupid thing in every one. Joe Berk, CSC Motorcycles Moto Colombia and Riding China Exhibitor Information

Joe Berk's ride through Colombia's Andes Mountains was more than just another adventure tour…it was an exposure to one of the largest motorcycle markets on the planet and a first-hand, up close look at the Colombian motorcycle industry. Motorcycling is huge in Colombia for a variety of reasons – motorcycles are so popular there's a motorcycle for one in every eight Colombians. The Colombian motorcycle industry has been growing 20% annually for the last several years, and the Colombian motorcycle market is bigger than ours. In Colombia, motorcycles have gone from being drug cartel assassins' tools to the country's dominant form of transportation.

Invited to participate in an 8-day circumnavigation of the Andes by AKT Motos (one of the largest manufacturers in Colombia), Berk rode with Juan Carlos Posada (founder and editor of De Motos magazine) from the shores of the steamy Caribbean to the smoldering rim of the Los Nevados del Ruiz volcano (an active volcano that killed 23000 Colombians just a few years ago). Anteaters, monkeys, giant iguanas, rustic villages, jungles, beaches, a ferry ride on the Magdalena River to historic Mompos, and more – the photo ops, the roads, the riding, the scenery, and the cuisine were incredible. Berk rode AKT Motos' version of the CSC RX3, a 250cc adventure touring motorcycle earning a reputation as a world-class touring bike.

Riding China - 8,800-kilometer ride across China on 250cc Zongshen motorcycles

Explore China with CSC Motorcycles' Joe Berk as he describes the ride of a lifetime across 8,800 kilometers of excitement, altitude, freezing cold, relentless rain, and sweltering humidity. Ride the Tibetan plateau at 14,000 feet, take a camel ride across the Gobi Desert, follow the Silk Road, parallel the Great Wall of China from its western end all the way to Beijing, see Xi'an's Terra Cotta soldiers, walk the courtyards of Beijing's Forbidden City, stroll the ancient streets of Pingyao, meet Chinese motorcyclists, and swim in the Yellow Sea at the very spot Berk's US Army missiles targeted more than 40 years ago. Tom Medema Rally for Rangers - Mongolia

In 2014 and 2015 a total of 35 riders embarked on a rally across northern Mongolia to bring new Yamaha AG200 motorcycles to park rangers who desperately needed them. These rangers are attempting to protect some of the last pristine land in Asia from development, poaching, and mining, and were doing so on horseback and 40 year old Russian motorcycles held together with baling wire and duct tape.

All 35 bikes were delivered and are now in use helping rangers stop poaching, illegal mining and other detrimental activities in Lake Hovsgol National Park and the Darkhad Valley.

Today, these rangers can cover vast territory without fear of breaking down, all through the efforts of the Mongol Ecology Center's Blue Waves Motorcycle Rally and the 20 volunteers who raised the funds to purchase the bikes, fly to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and ride 1000 miles through the vast steppe of central Asia to personally deliver the bikes.

We start off with a Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1000, 1000 miles in 24 hours from Scottsdale AZ to Austin TX for the US MotoGP. But our real goal was Key West FL by following the coast along the Gulf of Mexico. We fought rain, hail, tornados, mosquitos, bad drivers, and breakdowns. All to swim with sharks in the Keys. Along the way we discover the good in people, how to camp for free, and can we get along without killing each other for 46 days, 24 hours a day! This was a journey of discovery, and a chance for a father and son to reconnect and bond again. We have some great pictures, real world information, funny stories, and will entertain you with our travels.

Area 51 and the line of death!

We travel the mysterious Area 51 to look for aliens and UFOs! Close to the end of our 8,500 mile trip across America we decided to go see Area 51. We wanted to see for ourselves what's really going on there. Are they hiding aliens there? Will we see UFOs? We will show you details very few have seen and even caught one of the infamous "Cammo Dudes" trying to spy on us! We went to the front main entrance, found the mysterious "Black Mailbox", went to the famous Little A'Le'Inn, camped at the main back gate, stepped across the "line of death", and found a secret back gate and a sniper! We saw strange lights and found out maybe there is something going on there! We will give you a presentation you won't soon forget.

Alain Despatie Riding to Ngurrumpa - A motorcycle journey through Australian aboriginal land

It all started like the ordinary round-the-world adventure. The bike is set, there is a timeline, an itinerary, a budget. He has said his goodbyes to his wife and friends. All was well for the first week, until Alain meets a senior aboriginal uncle who thought of a different ride. On a two-wheel walkabout, Alain is about to discover what blackfellas call "Connection to Country." Interweaving between white and black world, the lessons at times are difficult to hear. Alain never left the country on that trip, keeping on pulse on "singing the land" wherever the motorcycle took him. It is hard to know if he has ever returned...

Alain unhooked from life in 2013 after a layoff from the computer world. He spent one year exploring Australia to return to California and replenish the bank for the next leg of the journey. When not travelling Alain busies himself building a tiny-house-on-wheels for the returns from the road.

We like to describe central Baja as a combination of the Galapagos Islands and Namibia that's only a day and a half's ride from San Diego. Its natural beauty and the opportunities for exploration by land, sea and air are endless. Baja has always been friendly to tourists and expats, and tourists flock to the northern and southern ends of the peninsula. But it's the central area between the Sea of Cortez and Scorpion Bay on the Pacific that calls to us, as it retains the original feel of old Baja.

Ride your dirt bike, your adventure bike, heck, even your Harley. There's no wrong way to explore Baja. Lately we've been trailering our KTM dirt bikes along with inflatable paddleboard-kayaks and camping gear to keep our options open.

Travel with us through the Catavina Desert with its thick-trunked elephant trees and Boojum forests, a surreal landscape borrowed by Dr. Suess to illustrate his children's books. Further south we bump along arroyos and oasis to the 7000-year old San Borjitas cave paintings. Gerard Ungerman travels mostly solo on a motorcycle, carrying everything he needs for up to four months at a time. How to produce an an-going video series for TV and the Internet to "Save the World" while crisscrossing the U.S. on a motorcycle? Walt Fulton and Nancy Foote, owners of Streetmasters Motorcycle Workshops, are focused on rider safety - both on and off the pavement. Walt is a retired (and resurrected) motorcycle road racer, dirt tracker and continues to teach and ride off-road. Nancy has been an avid on-road rider for the last 30+ years whose love of the sport brought her to her involvement in Streetmasters. Riding your adventure for the sake of adventure is reason enough, but if you're good with a camera and can tell a story, chances are there's a sponsor out there willing to help equip your journey. And you won't have to sell your soul to do it! My research will show you what constitutes effective social media for other sponsored riders and will give you ideas on the tools and tactics you'll need to employ to attract and retain quality sponsorships.

Covered will be key elements of a blog/website, Facebook page, Instagram account, YouTube channel, photography/videography, how to pitch your adventure journey to industry sponsors, contracts, how to showcase your sponsors' gear, etc... This is a work in progress but will attempt to show an adventure rider what equipment they can use to camp off the bike as well as ingredients for tasty nutritious meals. I will live demo-cook a few items for the audience.
