GS-911wifi, designed by HEX Code, is the new generation diagnostic tool for BMW motorcycles. It is compatible with the latest generation of K001 chassis BMW motorcycles (K1600GT/GLT, R1200GS LC, R1200GS Adv ALC, R1200RT LC, S1000R, C-evolution etc.). This product is also backward compatible and supports ALL the previous models of BMW motorcycles that have the round 10pin diagnostic connector!
GS-911wifi is compatible with the GS-911 Windows PC Software. It can also be used with a device that has a compatible web browser and WiFi (typically Android, iPads, iPhones, Windows Phone 7 & 8 etc.) to deliver Emergency Functionality (ECU information, reading & clearing of Fault Codes, Engine real-time (live) data) and cloud-based Service Functionality.
Grant says: If you're on the road with one of the above bikes, you REALLY want to carry one of these. When the electronics go wrong it can be difficult and expensive to get the bike to a BMW dealer for diagnostics - and it could be something simple you can take care of yourself - IF you know where the problem is, and the GS911 will help you figure that out, and tell you want all those cryptic fault codes are. We are first time long distance travellers starting out on our adventures, learning as we going along and posting about it for others enjoyment, mirth and so they dont make the same mistakes we have.
We are a small team based in Switzerland close to Bern (the capital) who enjoy riding motorcycle for discover countries in Europe and surroundings. On our homepage we can share with you our experiences and descriptions with relatively important indications for those who would like to do the same like us. We are not professionals of the road and we do not want to pretend so much but having had some beautiful adventures, we would like to share our discoveries and who knows ... maybe soon on the roads with some funny guy like us.
