Stories and places or interest from our trip around the world. What we like and dislike, places we have stayed both good and bad and what we thought as we have traveled over 40,000 km. One thing we know for sure is that through out the world people like to be happy and we feel privileged to meet so many of them in so many different places.

Two Canadians around the world on a GS 1200 from Vancouver across the USA fly to Ireland, then through Europe into Morocco, back to Spain, France, Italy, into Greece, then Turkey Syria Jordan Egypt, and now in Israel. Next to India and beyond, returning from New Zealand after 14 months, to Alaska, ride back to Vancouver, and start to plan the next trip!!

Betty (Rosann) is riding a motorbike …around the world (with Dan)…a little bit at at time…mostly in 3 month bites. (one of us has to work) The story is loosely about Betty…travelling through countries and little towns…bypassing big cities and big highways (as much as possible).
Encouraged by friends, work mates, complete strangers and family…we write a little bit of story each day…take a few photos…the odd movie…a few maps and other stuff (bad jokes and inappropriate language) added on as well.
Mostly, the story is easy to understand…except for the little bits of Tasmanian peculiar language and spelling……….just ignore these bits.

I'm Günni on Wheels, alias Günter Schiele, the founder of Wheel of India GmbH (www.wheelofindia.de). These travel diaries are about my private journeys. I'm on the road with a BMW R100GS/PD. I try to share my experience with you as realistic as possible. You might find some good tips for your own travels. At least you will find a lot of pictures which I hope give you an good idea what to expect in the countries I'm reporting about. HAVE FUN!

The employer's gone under, the divorce is through. It's time to hit the road and head south, a long way south... it's time to live the dream...

We are just about ready to depart from Yorkshire in United Kingdom on charitable motorcycle trip to Nezhin in Ukraine. The MotoFest in Nezhin is an annual gathering of bikers from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. The charity we support is called British Humanitarian Aid, based in Canterbury, Kent. We would like to attract some sponsorship; all the funds raised will be used by BHA to provide aid in or around Chernihiv region of Ukraine. We are going to be able to place on this blog a selection of photographs/videos from that trip , which on outgoing leg will take us through Holland, Germany, Austria, Hungry, Romania and Moldovia. While in Romania we plan to ride on Transalpine and Transfagarasan routes. The blog also contains a link to our tracking page, where our actual position will be available during the trip.
