In September 2012, two motorcycle enthusiasts propose to bring the historic Royal Enfield story to life, by driving a pair of modern Bullet Classic 500's back overland from the brand's current home in Chennai, India to its birthplace in Redditch, UK.

Lonely Highway Adventurers was founded in 2009 by Dr. Kumar Kaustubha Ray and Mr. Sandipan Mohanta. Being the regular long distance travelers by car, motorcycle, scooter or even by bi-cycle it is quitely realized that like it is a duty to discover incredible India and also give a helping hand to others who wants to discover India in such a way. then a dedicated team was born and the various events are rapidly increased.
