Buying a (CJ Sidecar) Motorcycle in Beijing: It is still illegal to ride independently in China, and to cross a border into China on a motorcycle that is not licensed and registered in China by a Chinese resident. Who knows when this may change, but for now, you must live in China and get a Chinese drivers license in order to ride there.
