Aswan Ferry

Hi, I don't know the size of your truck, but we saw Mr Salah today, and we paid EP3500 for our Toyota Landcruiser and a first class cabin. We're leaving next Monday so our information is up to date!! The cost is dependant on whether you can fit on the sheduled barge, or whether an additional one will be needed.

Good luck.

Hi, we are looking to get 5 Defenders from Sudan to Egypt and this is what I ws quoted for barge (up to 8 vehicles). parently you can put up to 2 vehicles on the ferry and price will be cheaper...

We have a passengership for people and a barge for cars every MONDAY from ASWAN and every WEDNESDAY from WADIHALFA but This barge takes 2 cars with the passengers luggage so you can pay the lowest price to move the big Barge 19280.00 Egypian pounds and this barge can takes 8 cars as your cars so you can share with others.
The price of first class ticket is 484.00EG.P
SALAH

Hi guys,

I did the Cape to London drive a while a go but decided to miss Egypt.

I have written an article on my detour on my blog....

you might want to make a note of it incase you have no other alternative.

Hope it is useful to you. If you need any more info just leave a comment after the article as I am not a regular here.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
