Perhaps if we ask nicely the 'Matt Savage overlanders bbq' will be held again this year on the Saturday night... A good meeting place for travellers - and he will look after your heavy items while you trapse around some more if you ask super nicely...
Matt?

Let's party!
Saturday evening at my stand at Billing, I can't remember the stand number but it's near the Land Rover Stand, near where the LRE tent used to be.... I think?
I'll supply a bit to drink and a grill. Please bring whatever you want to eat, and we'll sort it out!
Say 7.30ish?
Cheers,
Matt

Thanks to Matt and Toby for your hospitality to a stranger.
If you're up my way I'd be happy to reciprocate
Thanks

Hello Jeff
I met you at the Footloose stand on Sunday and you gave me some advice and told me some of your stories and it was really good to meet you.
Thanks for telling me about this website amongst others, it has a wealth of information and experience, I also enjoyed reading through yours.
Thanks again
Peter
(Probably one of many Saffa's you met that day!)

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
