Where to buy/sell Van
Hello all, I'm wondering where the best place is to buy and sell a van for traveling. I'm specifically looking for the Europe region. I've used this site before for a motorcycle and am looking for something similar for vans. I know there must be another site very similar to this but I can't find it. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Whats going to be your intended area of travel, and where are you from? Are you after a comercial vehicle you can chuck a mattress in, or do you want a camper van? If it's the latter, do you want one that's over 3.5 tons?
These are factors that can affect where and how paperwork can be sorted out. I will say that buying a van cheaply is nigh on impossible. I previously got a cheap old people carrier and then used it for camping with hardly any changes (stuck paper over the windows and a mattress in the back, and that was it) which was great I really miss that old heap.

Where are you from?
Generally buying in Germany is your best bet, they have so many more cars on the market so the prices are more competitive. Mobile.de eBay Kleinanzeigen and Autoscout24 are the best places to look.
Here is a useful Reddit thread that tells you about the best van for van life, their pros and cons.

I appreciate the responses. I'll check out those sites.
I will be traveling in Across Europe. Starting in the UK and making my way to the Balkans. But depending on where I can find a good van that might alter my plans.
If anyone has any leads on a van anywhere in Europe please let me know!
Thanks!

Ok, if you're a UK national I recon the best thing is to buy a van in the UK and get insurance that covers Europe. Driving a RHD van on the other side of the road is easy enough.
Buying, registering, and insuring any vehicle as a foreigner in another country is more difficult and expensive.
