Hi Saab

I cannot give a firm commitment, but I have been asked by Grant to maybe make a presentation if I turn up.

I have no idea on what I would do it on though, but at this stage put me down for a travel talk thingy and if there is something you can think of that may be of use, I can do something else along those lines. I have no idea what has already been sorted of course, so just let me know.

Cheers
Richard

Just show photos and brag!!

The stuff to tell; buying a bike in US, shipping Panama to Colombia, rough budgets, highs and lows, what you took and what you threw away and what you forgot to take and any tips for on the road you found useful

did you sell the Strom? Wanna buy mine?

Just a reminder that registrations are now open. The form is here
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/mee...tralia2010.php

Early registration will help us with some planning issues, so if you planning on coming along, it would e great if you registered sooner rather than later.

Its shaping up very well, with heaps of presenters etc.

Hopefully the rain will be well & truly gone by then.

Vendors Needed

We need more vendors for the meeting.
It seems that the Australian motorcycle industry is keen to take our money, but not so keen to support these type of events.
If you are a business owner that has products that might be of interest to the travelling rider then please contact me asap.

Huge thanks to those vendors & sponsors that have already committed.

Aussie Biker-Noosa
Tyres for Bikes-Albion
Coastline BMW- Kawana
City Hire-Brisbane
ARB
Team Moto
Touratech Australia
Andy Strapz
Jesse Luggage

Please support these businesses if you can.

Cheers
Guy

To anyone coming along (an it seems quite a few are) If you need tyres, Robbie from tyres for bikes will have a full tyre fitting service available over the weekend, so leave that half worn thing on for the ride there and have Robbie fit a new one while your enjoying all thats going on.

Might be an idea to let him know what tyer you want, just to make sure he has one vailable for you, but he does keep a big range in stock.

He can contacted on 0428558827

New to Horizons Unlimited?

New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!

Horizons Unlimited was founded in 1997 by Grant and Susan Johnson following their journey around the world on a BMW R80G/S.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
