Australia - NSW - Sydney - Parking Motorcycle
Dear motorcycle travelers,
I just bought a wonderful 1984 Honda VF750F. I am traveling with that bike through NSW for 1 month (until early May 2011). I definitely want to keep the bike after I leave Australia because I intent to come back.
My request is, would it be possible to park my bike at someone's private home? I would agree with some funds for providing such a lot.
Thanks very much in advance!
Greetings
John

If you can't find anywhere in Sydney I can store it for at my place near Bega on the NSW Far South Coast. We are about about 400km from Sydney with a direct bus service to Sydney airport and city.
Your bike would be in a secure double garage along with some of my bikes. No charge - it would be a pleasure - a chance to do what someone is doing for me in the UK where I have a Honda ST1100 in storage.

Hi Deolali,
thanks a lot for that great offer. I forgot to mention that there are another favors I want to request for. Since the Rego expires on Nov. 2011, I would be great if one could please keep it up to date by applying green or pink slip. For that I would give the cash in advance. Also it would be great if one could have a ride with the bike like once every two month for a half hour or so to keep it in motion. I know I am demanding a great deal of someone with that request. So I would really appreciate that kind of help.
Thanks very much!

That wouldn't be a problem. I'd also connect the battery to a trickle charger one week in 3 (on rotation with another bike and the ride-on mower).
The only complication is that on 5 May we head off to Iran, Isle of Man for the TT races, Scotland and Ireland. But our house-sitter is a motorcyclist and would mind your bike here along with my 4 until our return in early July.
I'll send you a personal message with my contact details.
If in the meantime you get an offer in Sydney that would obviously be more convenient for you - just let me know.

Thanks so far Deolali, I really appreciate your concession. I will give you a message early enough. If nobody else offers an opportunity, I would most likely occupy your offer.
Greetings

I am more then happy to store and care for this guy's bike - it will give me a chance to do what others have twice done for me overseas - but surely there is someone in Sydney who also has some space. It would be much more convenient for him.

I found a place for storage in Sydney directly. Thank you very much for your effort to organize a meeting. I really appreciate the kindness and friendliness of all the people here in Australia and you especially.
Cheers

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
