Hi Daniele, Good to see you are still keen to go travelling by bike. Have you bought a bike yet? We will not be able to get to the HU meet this year - still in India now. Have a great time at the rally and say hi to Ken & Carol for us.

There is a good chance that I will attend but Thursday am will be when I depart Brisbane. Not via the highways but the scenic route and mountains where possible. Hopefully get back to Brisbane on the Tuesday afternoon.
Let me know if you change your mind and leave early
Glen

Got a bike....
yes John, Nicole and I bought a 1200gs. i know it's crazy, but by the time we make our trip across Asia, it will as modern as a 100gs. I am still waiting to read the news about india, we log in everyday to check. could we hope for new pictures and interisting stories?
Glen, Nicole and I have to check with work commitments, but we'll let you know. please send me an email before you go, so we can keep in touch.
Thanks again,
FR

Hi, we will be going down but leaveing on the Tuesday or Wednesday, it starts on the Friday night so Thursday afternoon wont give you much time for staggering. I will have a display there for the Jesse Luggage systems, hope to see you there. Lachlan.

Best root !!!
Here is a suggested route a good friend of mine prepared earlier.
I had looked at a different route 1 way, but then considered almost constant twisties for over 600km from Grafton to Lithgow & thought why?
So, 1,720 kms
Brisbane,
Rathdowney,
Kyogle,
Casino,
Grafton,
Ebor,
Armidale,
Walcha,
Stroud,
Singleton,
Wilberforce,
Lithgow,
Bathurst,
Cowra,
Young,
Cootamundra,
Gundagai,
Tumut,
Cabramurra,
Tintaldra.
Plan to leave early Thursday morning to get a good deal of K's covered that day.
This should work, let me know what you think!
Glen

Newbie would love a lift from Sydney!
I'm not sure which of the threads is best to post in so I've put this in both:
I'm in Sydney and would love to come to the HU weekend (23rd to 25th Feb '07) but I currently have no means of transport to get me there and back!
If anyone knows of anyone who'd be prepared to put an extra 85kgs on the back of their bike for the trip down, I'd be extremely grateful and happy to contribute for costs, fuel etc and shout a few cold s too.
Please let me know if you can help or are aware of anybody who might be in a position to.
Many thanks
Rob
