2017 Royal Enfield Himalayan $4000 Chile/Argentina late March early April

Me and my fiance are currently travelling from Colombia to Chile and will be selling our bikes either in Chile or Argentina depending on what's most convenient. It currently has 10000KM but we're unsure how many more km's we will be riding. It's safe to say it will be closer to 15000+ KM

This bike is ideal for all adventures, very comfortable for long rides on the highways and very capable off-road as well. All the known problems have been fixed, such as: a new charging system from the BS4 model, new silicone gaskets around engine to prevent oil leaks, and the standard brake pads have been replaced with EBC sinterized brake pads so it doesn't feel like the brakes are made of wood. These are the most common problems and are already fixed so no need to worry about it! The bike is carburated which only works as an advantage as it easily handles all altitudes and this makes the motorcycle easier to fix. The carburetor has an easily accessible fuel/air mixture screw so adjusting for altitude is a matter of seconds, if needed at all.

Other extras include:

Akropovic slip-on exhaust (with baffle so doesn't make much noise but saves A LOT of weight and adds performance)
Hand Guards
New HID headlight w/guard
Top case with reinforced welds
Crash bars
Phone mount with USB charger
Back seat has been modified for added comfort, this is a great option if you want to ride 2 up!

All the service has been done on time or before the due date. Simply put we don't want to break down during our travels so we try to do everything we can to make sure the bikes are in top shape! This bike is perfect for a long trip and we have had no problems with this bike during our trip, it's been a dream bike and we know it will be for your journey as well.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask!

I don't think you'll be getting many offers at that price...

Not to burst your bubble... but you are asking for a price that is literally list price for a brand new Himalayan here in Chile (https://www.royal-enfield.cl/producto/himalayan-abs/)

I know you have added a few things, but even still... a 3 yr old bike with what could be 15.000 on the clock or a brand new one...

Anyway, hope it goes well.

Happy trails

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
