Sale in Peru: Yamaha Tenere 250 with Colombia plates!
Hey travellers! Selling a motorbike in Cusco after an epic road trip!
It's an excellently maintained 2016 Yamaha Tenere xtz250z, and is perfect for overlanding travel for the following reasons:
1. It has Colombian license plates, which make for the easiest border crossings. (Peruvian bikes for example aren’t even allowed to leave the country.)
2. 250 cc is powerful enough to go pretty much anywhere, but at the same time small enough that you can easily find replacement parts, and any mechanic knows how to fix it. If you get a larger bike and something breaks down, you might get really stuck.
3. Great for both off-road and tarmac, very comfortable, and has performed excellently throughout the whole trip. It’s a great bike; if I could take it home I would!
Service History and Issues
Oil changes every 2500 km, Semi Synthetic
Oil Filter Changes every 5000km
Air filter replaced every 2500kms(more frequently over dusty sections)
