South America - FOR SALE: 2004 Kawasaki KLR 650 $2500
2nd owner of 10 yrs.; meticulously maintained - all records available

Motorcycle available in Ushuiaia or Buenos Aires in Feburary. Excellent time to begin trip north

Moto prepped for my trip from Bogota, Col. To Ushuiaia:
• New waterproof wheelbearings front and rear
• New radiator hoses
• New battery
• New stainless steel valves and valve job (13.5k miles ago)
• New piston and rings (25k miles ago) was oil user; now only ½ l. In 3000 mile oil change
• New clutch before trip

Extras; doohickey done:
• ThermoBob
• 6.6 gal tank (300 plus mile range)
• Happy Trails pannier racks
• Waterproof and lockable Pelican cases panniers
• Corbin seat
• After market “moab” rear shock (cost $750)
• Oxford gripwarmers
• Barkbusters

Extra parts: tubes, front and rear brake pads, clutch cable, throttle cable, chain lube, some tools, jack prop, service manual

Zumo 395 LM with software of all South America available for additional $250

All you need to do is throw your leg over and keep riding

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
