R1200GSA seat
Just bought a used 1200gsa and although i knew the bike was tall i found i can manage on the road but think its going to be just that bit of a raech off road, has anyone any experience of the sargent seats on the adventure? or similar lower seat options? im against lowering the suspension as that kind of defeats the object of the bike really

I'm 5'8" with a 30" inside seam. I'm fine with the standard seat on the road, but when I'm planning offroad trips I fit the BMW lowered seat with an Airhawk on top. The Airhawk brings the seat height back to standard but I then have the ability to deflate the Airhawk if I'm worried about touching down.
The advantage of this approach is that my legs aren't cramped by a low seat for the road part of the trip.

is yours the adventure? im still a bit short in the leg with mine in the low position although i can manage i would be happier to be able to flat foot it, dont know if its had new shocks or what but its a good 2 inches taller than my friends. could this be something to do with the esa?
quite like the idea of the airhawk id never heard of them thanks

Yes, I have a 1200GSA. The low seat is something that was sold for the 1200GS, though it also fits the GSA. Not that I can flat foot it even with the low seat.
Info on the Airhawk here: Bykebitz Motorcycle Accessories Ltd Airhawk Seating Systems

I have a Kahedo/touratech X-Low seat on my 07 R1200 GSA. It is comfy. I can do 500-600 kms/day without any discomfort. I can flat-foot easily and use my balls of my feet without any problem.
