Torque for Exhaust nut 118ft-lbs plus or minus 15ft-lbs, and that's from the BMW Workshop Manual. Still, I suppose it ought to be enough(!)
To be honest, it shouldn't be too hard to apply: my spanner (wrench) is 13inches (about a foot) or 330mm long. If you press your foot near the end all you have to do is to apply 118 lbs of your weight to it and hey, presto- you've got 118ft-lbs of torque, near enough. Although it does seem a huge amount of torque compared to most other nuts/bolts on the bike it really isn't too hard to apply thanks to the length of the spanner.

PS Still seems a LOT!
