another camping stove question
I have 5 different stoves. MSR multi fuel, a coleman unleaded fuel, two generic brand that both use heavy duty propane cylinders abut 8 inches tal and maybe 5 inches dia that screw in, and one really handy little rascal that uses a butane canister that looks something like a can of insect spray and is of the same weight material. I really like this stove and although it is not small, it is handy because it is flat, holds a big pot (the spaghetti type) and is clean. My only question is that in wandering around Europe I never noticed any of the latter type cannisters because I always used the bigger heavier ones when with my wife, and the MSR otherwise. Now, I would like to take the handy dandy Boorio stove but don't know if the butane snap-in style cannister is available. Anybody know about these?
much tnaks,
joe

Post a photo or a link to a photo and you'll get a slew of responses.

Okay MarKoff, here it is. I had to look for a bit to find a photo, but your suggestion is the best idea. These are the ones sold in Korea, Thailand, and Indonesia. Haven't been there yet, but I suppose they are available in Malaysia and Vietnam as well. My concern is for Europe and Africa though. If I am not sure of that, I'll take the MSR or buy the dual fuel Coleman or maybe even the lighweight 2 burner coleman. Weight is not a real problem but storage is. This little stove is pretty compact . Thanks for the tip. I hadn't thought of a photo since I don't have one. The web does though..

Does the stove look like this?
In which case yes we have them over here, and the cartridges are available all over the place, in France at least. They even have them in supermarkets, although the can sometimes be a bit seasonal.

Yes! except for the color and a few minor differences, that's the one. Thank you much. Even if the cans aren't available in Africa I can buy 10 cans and take them with me.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
