This one carries 2 liters but you can get them bigger that pack 4 liters. They have a filter that's good for up to 50 gallons. You could even filter domestic water.
I've been adv riding for years and always carried my water in bottles, never on my back. What's your thoughts on this?

I own the Geigerrig 1600 hydration pack. As you, I used to pack bulky water bottles. Now I simply carry the back pack on my back. When I need a drink I simply squeeze the tip and the water squirts out. It also comes in very handy for washing hands, cleaning goggles or face shield. It's the best thing I have purchased for Adventure riding since the bike it's self. I also have a "First Need"EPA approved water purifier that I pack for refilling the 1600 out of a mountain stream or municipal water source.
