Biker-friendly places in Oaxaca?

Will be riding in in several days. First time in the city. Looking for a reasonable priced biker-friendly place to base out of for 3-5 days.

GPS coordinates or street names helpful.

Thanks in advance.

DB

Casa Angel Hostel

I'm staying in one of the highest rated hostels in Oaxaca. everything is new, new surdy beds, mattresses the likes of you wouldn't have seen since you left home and hot water. It's super clean, almost boutique standard and guess what? It has a garage attached to park your motorcycle.

10 bed dorm 130 Pesos
4 bed dorm 150 Peses

Casa Angel Hostel
Tinoco y Palacios 610, Colonia Centro, Oaxaca, Oax. Mexico
Casa Angel - Home

Here's a rough waypoint for you:

N17 04.061 W96 43.589

The hostel is on your left hand side as you come down the street.

Good luck

Thanks, Guaterider. (Can i infer familiarity with Guatemala from the title? Will be going there as well first time. Hear that security around the Guat City is not too good. Can you confirm?)

Security in Guatemala City is the same as in any other big city : There are some neighborhoods that you want to stay away from . For the rest there is no problem , keep your eyes open , be respectfull with the locals and use COMMON SENSE !
If you need any info or assistance , PM me .

I'll agree with easyg on the Casa Angel. Stayed there a few months ago, fantastic place with a spacious secure garage attached.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
